Introduction

I double this recipe and add water to keep it soup-like. It can be made on the stove top or the crock pot. It freezes well, but rarely are there any leftovers. Serve with cheese on top. Ingredients

    Ground beef, lean, 16 oz
    Tomato Sauce, 1 cup
    Onions, raw, 2 tbsp chopped
    Chili powder, 2 tbsp
    Garlic powder, 1 tbsp

Directions

Brown the ground beef with chopped onion, drain the fat. Add tomato sauce, chili powder and garlic powder. Simmer on the stovetop for 30 min or cook in the crock pot on low for 8 hrs. This is the basic recipe - at my house everyone adds what they like - hot sauce, beans, corn, etc. I serve it with shredded cheddar on top.
