Number of Servings: 1

Ingredients

    2 cinnamon sticks
    1 tablespoon whole allspice
    1 tablespoon whole cloves
    Cheesecloth or thin cloth
    Kitchen string

    Optional additions:
    1 tablespoon orange zest
    1 tablespoon lemon zest
    1 teaspoon dried lavender
    1 teaspoon dried rosemary


Directions

Use this to impart a pleasant fragrance to your home, or place in a drawer.

Combine all ingredients into the cheesecloth or material, tie closed with string.

To simmer: Place sachet into a small saucepan with one pint of water, bring to a boil then reduce to a low simmer. Add additional water if the water level becomes low.


Serving Size: Makes one sachet.

    Giving the nutrition information for the recipe is this intended as a craft or a food.
    Sure it smells good I would never drink it though. I use my old spices for sachets and fresh for recipes. I think this could be expanded to explain its intended use.
