    1 avocado halved and mashed
    4 tbsp low fat cream cheese
    4 tbsp pizza sauce
    1 sheet of puff pastry shell
    1 egg


I found it easier to seal the pastries on whatever pan you will be baking them on (harder to transfer to pan once you mash down the edges).

You can use anything you wanted for filling!


Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Get a greased baking sheet (I used greased tinfoil over mine!)

Let pastry shell thaw according to instructions.

Cut the shell into 9 pieces (make sure sizes are about equal)

On 4 of the pastry pieces, put a dollop of avacodo, 1 tbsp of cream cheese, 1 tbsp of pizza sauce and a few mushroom slices.

Place empty pastry piece on top of one with ingredients. Seal the pockets tightly by pressing the edges with a fork. Seal well so filling doesn't ooze out.

In small bowl, beat egg. Apply egg wash to tops of pastries. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until pastry is puffed and golden brown.

Serving Size: Makes 4 whole pastries
