Introduction
Double serving of fried rice for any side dish. Double serving of fried rice for any side dish.Number of Servings: 2
Ingredients
-
1 cup of Uncle Ben's Instant Whole Grain Brown Rice (already made according to package recipie)
1/2 Tbsp of Soy Sauce
2 tsp of Splenda
1/3 cup of Water (room Tempature is fine)
1 Scrambled egg
Directions
Prepare 1 cup of Uncle Ben,s instant whole grain brown rice (I usually half the recipe). Set aside.
Add water, splenda, and soy sauce in separate cup and mix. Set Aside.
Spray non stick frying pan with PAM buttery spray. Scrable egg as you normally would (also if desired add finely chopped green onions here). Keep Frying pan hot.
Pour Rice over Eggs.
Quickly stir water soy and splenda so that splenda does not stay settled on the bottom. Then pour over rice. (If done right the water should boil as it is poured on the rice). Stir all ingrediants in the pan. Water mixture should cook into the rice quickly. When the rice is coated well and water mixture is mostly gone place on plate, and it is ready to serve with whatever other dish you are having.
I have not tried this with large numbers of servings and I do not know if it would work.
