Introduction

Not sure where I got this recipe, but I've been using it for years now. Makes a moist and very yummy banana nut bread. Not sure where I got this recipe, but I've been using it for years now. Makes a moist and very yummy banana nut bread.
Number of Servings: 11

Ingredients

    1 large egg
    1/2 cup Fat Free Miracle Whip dressing
    1 1/3 cups mashed, fully ripe bananas (about 3)
    1 1/2 cups flour
    1 cup sugar
    1/2 cup chopped walnuts
    1 tsp baking soda
    1 tsp salt

Tips

Instead of greasing the pan, I always line my pan with parchment paper. That helps a TON on clean up, plus I get to cut a couple minutes AND calories by not greasing :o)


Directions

Heat oven to 350 F.
Beat egg, dressing and bananas in large bowl with whisk until well blended.
Mix remaining ingredients in separate bowl.
Add to banana mixture: stir just until moistened
Pour into greased 9x5 in. loaf pan
Bake 1 hour or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
Cool for 10 minutes (if you can wait that long) and enjoy!
