Great as a side dish for dinner or a light lunch. Great as a side dish for dinner or a light lunch.
Number of Servings: 8


    1 pkg thin pasta
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1/2 to 1 tsp ginger root, minced
    1 tbsp Tahini
    1/4 cup soy sauce or Tamari
    1/4 cup sesame oil, toasted
    1/2 cup onion, chopped
    1-3 tbsp cilantro, chopped


Cook pasta 3 to 5 min.
Remove from heat, drain, rinse in cold water, drain.
Mix tahini, soy and sesame, garlic, and ginger.
Add to pasta.
Add cilantro and onion.
Serve cold or at room temperature.

  • My son and I made these as a side dish for our Labor Day bbq! They were wonderful. I may try to use a little less oil next time, if I can get away with it. But I WILL make it again....yummy, filling, lo-cal! - 9/1/08

  • I used peanut butter instead of tahini and added a whole bunch of steamed veggies. It was a bit too salty from the soysauce so next time I will use much less. I also put in much more garlic, then topped with sesame seeds - 4/17/07
