Freeze washed, hulled peppers overnight Freeze washed, hulled peppers overnight
Number of Servings: 4


    1 lb. lean ground beef
    4 red peppers( washed, hulled and frozen overnight)
    1 cup brown rice
    1 onion chopped
    1 24 ounce jar Classico Zesty Tomato & Basil Sauce


Freezing the peppers in advance omitts par cooking peppers.


Mix beef, onion, salt, pepper and rice together. Add 1/2 cup of the sauce to mixture. Stuff the peppers. Place in slow cooker and cover with the remaining sauce. Cook on low 6 to 8 hours.

Serving Size: makes 4 stuffed peppers
