Ingredients

    2.5 cups of red wine
    7 small red potatoes, diced with skin
    10 baby carrots, diced
    2 stalks of celery, diced
    2 cups vegetable broth
    5 baby portabella mushrooms, diced
    2 cloves of garlic
    .25 cup of strong onion
    1 cup non condensed mushroom soup
    1 lb lean ground beef
    1 tsp vegemite or marmite
    2 TBSP tomato paste
    1 TBSP extra virgin olive oil

Tips

vegemite or marmite are yeast extracts that help give it a deep taste


Directions

Saute onions and mushrooms, and garlic in olive
oil until tender, add tomato paste and saute
until tomato paste turns dark red. Add mixture
to crock pot. In same skillet brown hamburger,
then add that to crock pot. Chop vegetables,
and add to crock pot. Add broth, soup, and
wine, and stir well. Add salt and pepper to
taste, and add the vegemite or marmite.
