This has become a family favorite. It freezes beautifully, which is great, because we are once a month cooks. When we reheat and eat during the month, we mix it with pasta - voila! healthy hamburger helper in less than 10m. - 6/17/09

Substitued ground turkey for the ground beef. Noticed after the flour and milk (used rice milk) it had a pot pie consistency. Added a can of sliced potatoes and chopped them in. Thawing out the veggies first is easier. The longer you let it simmer, the better it seems. A new favorite, thanks! - 7/6/09

I too used beef broth instead of milk and added garlic salt. I prepared it as directed and then used it to make lettuce wraps. It was very tasty and my 4 year old who doesn't like new things had 2 servings! - 6/8/10
