Directions
1. Add yeast and honey to warm water. Let it sit until you see the yeast get all bubbly on top.
2. Stir in the salt, oil, and flour.
3. Knead the dough for a few minutes until it is smooth and pulls away from the bowl
4. Put a bowl of water in the microwave and turn microwave on for 2 minutes
5. Remove water from microwave and let bread rise for 15 minutes or until it's doubled in size
6. Divide the dough into two long loaves (rolling like a jelly roll and tucking in the ends). Place both loaves side by side on a greased cookie sheet.
7. Slash the tops of each loaf diagonally
8. Cover with a warm towel and let rise again while oven preheats to 375.
9. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown. You will know it's done if the outside is crusty and the bread makes a hollow sound when tapped
10. OPTIONAL For an extra crispy crust, whisk an egg with cold water and brush on loaf. Cook for an additional 10 minutes.
Serving Size: Each loaf makes 10 servings (slices)
Number of Servings: 20
