This just might be the perfect summer dessert! It’s cool and refreshing, it doesn't require baking or turning on your stove, and it can be made in advance. Plus, it’s super-easy. Who wants to slave away in the kitchen when you could be enjoying the warm summer weather?
This just might be the perfect summer dessert! It’s cool and refreshing, it doesn't require baking or turning on your stove, and it can be made in advance. Plus, it’s super-easy. Who wants to slave away in the kitchen when you could be enjoying the warm summer weather?

Ingredients

    ! box Nilla Wafer cookies
    1 box vanilla instant pudding mix
    1 box banana cream instant pudding mix
    2-3 ripe bananas, sliced
    1 lge. whipped topping (such as Cool Whip), thawed
    4 cups skimmed milk

Directions

Prepare both puddings together in one bowl according to package directions. Set aside in refrigerator.
Place nilla wafer cookies in a single layer on the bottom and sides of a baking dish (I used a glass dish that was 13"x9"x2".) I used about 20 cookies.
Top the cookies with a layer of banana slices.
Spread the prepared pudding over bananas.
Top the pudding with whipped topping. Refrigerate at least one hour, or until ready to serve. Garnish with extra Nilla wafers.
