Introduction
Whole grain wrap with turkey, apple, sunflower seeds, and sweet-spicy mustard vinaigrette Whole grain wrap with turkey, apple, sunflower seeds, and sweet-spicy mustard vinaigretteNumber of Servings: 1
Ingredients
-
Tortilla, whole grain (one 8-9 inch tortilla)
Turkey breast (1 deli slice, 35g)
Sweet hot mustard mixed with honey apple vinegar, 1 tsp
Sunflower seeds, salted and roasted, 1/4 oz (about 2 tsp)
Apple, fresh with skin, 1/3 large
Power greens (baby kale, chard, and spinach), 1/2 cup
Directions
Layer ingredients in order listed; roll into burrito shape.
I make six wraps at a time, so they're ready to eat on the go.
Try swapping your favorite cheese in place of the sunflower seeds, or try using bell peppers and onions instead of the greens, or try using citrus fruit slices instead of the apple.
For the mustard-vinaigrette, I recommend 3 parts Beaver Brand Hot Sweet Mustard to 1 part Honey Apple flavor "O" Sonoma Apple Cider Vinegar.
For the apple I recommend a very ripe Granny Smith, but any flavorful apple will work.
To decrease sodium, use unsalted seeds.
Enjoy!
