Introduction

Cherie Calbom says in her book The Juice Lady's Juicing for High-Level Wellness and Vibrant Good Looks that apple and spinach juice have been used as a traditional remedy for cleansing the colon. Drink two 8-ounce glasses (one in the morning and one in the evening) of this cocktail per day on an empty stomach for five to seven days. Also this is an effective colon mover. Ingredients

    Granny Smith, McIntosh, or Golden Delicious organic apples, spinach, parsley, lemon

Directions

Cut the apples into sections. Bunch up the spinach an parsley, tuck them in the feed tube, and juice them with the apples and lemon. Stir the juice and pour into a glass. Serve at room temperature or chilled, as desired.

Makes about 8 to 10 ounces.

Add equal quantities of water, if not used to drinking green vegetable juices.
