Ingredients

    1 tbsp, crumbled Bay Leaf
    1 tsp Tabasco Sauce
    2 cup, chopped Green Peppers (bell peppers)
    4 cup (8 fl oz) Chicken Broth
    1 cup Hunt's Diced Tomato, canned (by TIGERLILLY513)
    2 clove Garlic
    3 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
    24 jumbo Black Olives
    1.5 cup, chopped Onions, raw
    0.5 tsp Pepper, black
    0.5 tsp Pepper, red or cayenne
    1 serving Salt
    0.5 tsp Thyme, ground
    0.25 cup Tomato Paste
    2.5 cup (8 fl oz) Water, tap
    1 cup Barley, pearled, raw
    16 ounces Chicken Breast (cooked), no skin, roasted
    10 oz Jennie-O Extra Lean Turkey Ham

Directions

In a slow cooker heat olive oil, chopped onion, chopped green pepper, diced tomatoes, tomato paste, water, chicken broth, salt, thyme, cayenne pepper, black pepper, raw chicken breast cut in small pieces and barley. Set slow cooker high for 4 hours. Just prior to serving stir in cooked ham and sliced or chopped olives. Heat through and serve. Serving Size: 8 Servings
