Introduction

I wanted a taco full of flavor without all the calories. I do not use sour cream or Lettuce so if you do you must adjust for their calorie and other contents. Ingredients

    32 oz Jenny-O Turkey, Ground turkey, 93% lean
    10 oz. can GV brand Rotel (by ASULTANA1)
    1 pkt. Old El Paso hot and spicy taco seasoning
    1 pkt. old elpaso mild taco seasoning mix (by SEESHELLA)
    16 oz. serving Cheese - GV Shredded Taco Blend (by GEMINITWINSFYRE)
    1 1/3 c. Water, tap as directed on seasoning packets (2x 2/3c.)
    32 tbsp *Taco Bell Taco Sauce, Mild (2 Tbls. per taco)
    16 Chi Chi's Flour Tortilla, Soft Taco Size- 1 tortilla (by VITAMINA19)

Tips

Cut portions in half when cooking if you have a small family or if you do not like to have left overs. Always remember that tacos are high in sodium.


Directions

In a Dutch Oven cook 2 pounds of turkey (always make sure poultry is fully cooked. I cook till completely white/gray). Drain and rinse in hot water. Return to pan. Add water, seasoning packets, Rotel, and simmer for about 15 minutes. Meanwhile cook (heat taco shells). Add 2Tbls. of meat mix. Add 1oz. cheese. Top with sauce.
