    0.75cup Butter, salted,
    1.5 cup, unpacked Brown Sugar,
    2 eggs
    2 cup Oatmeal - dry,
    1 cup shredded Coconut, sweetened,
    1 cup Flour, white,
    1 tsp Baking Powder,
    0.5 tsp Baking Soda,
    1 tsp Vanilla Extract,
    pinch of salt
    1 cup Semisweet chocolate chips

    many people might decide to make variations... this is the family recipe and I will probably make some variations when i make them for myself: splenda instead of brown sugar, eggs whites instead of whole eggs, low fat butter or margarine, half the chocolate chips, replace the coconut for slivered almonds... etc.


Mix butter and sugar. Add the rest of the ingredients in the order given. Drop cookies on sheet and bake at 375F for 15 minutes or until golden. Put no more than 13 cookies per sheet.
makes 65 small cookies!
