Instead of the red wine vinegar, we use a can of beef broth. We serve these over egg noodles for a delicious meal. - 7/11/10

Turned out real good. Meat fell off bone. I did place them in the oven after cooking & topped with bbq sauce to get the caramelized flavor. - 8/13/11

I used 3/4 cup of water and baby's ray brown sugar and hickory smoked bbq sauce. Cooked them for 6 hours and when I went to lift them out some of the bones fell out!! So resorted to using a slotted spoon. These are sooooo good. Will definitely make them again. Had them with white rice.

First off, I have had a slow cooker for 5 years that I have never used because I did not really know what to do with it. Second, short ribs were on sale at my local market. I saw this recipe and thought it looked doable. It was flavorful, juicy, deliciousness. Just wonderful. Thanks. - 2/14/10
