Introduction

This is a recipe I have used for years. I rinse the beans well to reduce the sodium content. We eat half, and freeze the rest.
I do this all in the Ninja cooker so I can brown and then slow cook.
Makes 16 cups of chili.

Ingredients

    3 lbs lean ground beef
    2 large Onions, raw
    3 tbsp Chili powder
    2 tsp Garlic powder
    2 tsp ground cumin
    3-4 tbsp Yellow Corn Meal
    4 tsp Ancho Chile Powder
    2 tbsp Cocoa, dry powder, unsweetened
    2 cans dark kidney beans
    1 can black beans
    6 cup Tomatoes, red, ripe, canned, whole, no salt added
    1 can (6 oz) Tomato Paste

Tips

Nutritional count is per cup of chili


Directions

Brown crumbled beef. Add chopped onions and cook til translucent. Add spices and cook more. Add everything else and stir well. Cover and cook on low for 4 to 6 hours.
