Ingredients

    4 medium whole (2-3/5" dia) Tomatoes, red, ripe, raw, year round average
    2 tbsp Basil
    1 serving Green Onion (fresh-1 stalk)
    1 serving pie shell, Deep Dish, Marie Callender's (1 pie shell) (by NETTIEDEE)
    8 oz Mozzarella Cheese, whole milk
    0.50 cup Cheese, sharp cheddar, grated
    1 cup Mayonnaise, regular (mayo)
    0.5 cup Sour Cream
    1 tbsp Garlic powder

Tips

if you pre bake the crust to keep the tomatoes from sogging out the crust, make sure you use a fork and dock it or use pie weights.


Directions

place sliced and salted tomatoes in a colander in the sink. allow to drain 15 minutes. layer the drained tomatoes, onions and basil leaves (chopped or squeeze tube) season with pepper, there will be enough salt. combine sour cream , mayo and garlic powder then pour over the veggies in the pie crust, bake at 350 for 30-40 minutes or until slightly browned. let it cool a little, enjoy
