Introduction

Moist, delicious and flavorful turkey burger! The addition of the mayonnaise adds a little needed fat to keep it moist, and you can't taste it at all. Great to freeze and have on hand for a quick meal! Moist, delicious and flavorful turkey burger! Number of Servings: 2

Ingredients

10 oz. ground turkey (93% lean)
1/2 medium shallot, minced (about 1 1/2 Tablespoon)
    1/4 teaspoon Seasoned Salt
    1/4 teaspoon Kosher Salt
    1/8 teaspoon Garlic Powder
1/4 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
1 teaspoon Light Mayonnaise (Hellman's preferred)
    1/4 teaspoon Tabasco Chipotle Sauce
    1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce

Directions

Mix all ingredients into ground turkey (using your hands seems to work best).

Divide mixture in half and form into 2 patties.

Heat grill to medium high. Would also work well in a skillet/grill pan on the stove top.

Spray grill with some cooking spray so the burgers don't stick.

Cook burgers 7 1/2 minutes on each side. Serve.

Makes 2 burgers.

We serve on Aunt Millie's Deluxe Whole Grain Buns.

*It would also work well making slightly smaller burgers with 1 lb. of meat yielding 4 burgers.

This was absolutely delicious. I didn't even have to add cheese or any condiments; it was great as it was. I will definitely make this again! - 5/1/10

I reduced the sodium by eliminating the kosher salt. Otherwise, I would have rated it higher. - 6/10/09

Very good, but a bit too salty. I think I would cut out the regular salt next time, and just use the seasoning salt. I used a bit of chili powder instead of Tabasco, as well. - 10/4/11

I give this three stars because the burgers were very tasty and my whole family liked them. However, then fell apart when we cooked them. - 8/7/13
