Introduction

This has been a family favorite for years, even our children enjoy it. I finally started making it with Splenda and it's still yummy! This has been a family favorite for years, even our children enjoy it. I finally started making it with Splenda and it's still yummy!

Ingredients

    Here's what ya need:
    Cinnamon - whole (3 sticks)
Lipton Tea Bag (1 Family Size)
    Splenda (1.5 cups)
    Water

Directions

Bring approx. 5 cups (or a small saucepan) of water to a rapid boil.
Decrease heat to low and add your 3 cinnamon sticks to the water. Cover and let simmer for 8 minutes.
Next, add your 1 family size tea bag to the pan. Cover and let simmer for 3 minutes.
Remove cinnamon sticks and tea bag - discard.
Pour mixture into a large pitcher and fill remaining area of pitcher with water.
Add 1.5 cups of Splenda. Stir until dissolved.
Refrigerate and serve over ice.

* Your pitcher should be big enough that when you pour your cinnamon/tea mixture into it, it will be approx. half full.

** Instead of discarding the cinnamon/sticks - I leave mine in the sauce pan on the stove. The aroma from the cinnamon will make your home smell wonderful.

    Incredible!
    Very good.

I used stevia instead of splenda. In my most recent brew, I included a bit of cayenne in a tea infuser. Gives it a pleasant bite at the end of a drink.
