My husband and I enjoyed this recipe. I used more apples so that the bottom of the pan was covered. Also, I poured 1/2 cup water over the apples before adding the topping. Some apples aren't as juicy as others when baked. - 11/5/09

This recipe is so quick and easy and it tastes great. I used the Splenda brown sugar and my family will never notice any difference. I am bringing this apple crisp to Easter dinner. Thanx - 4/11/09

Turned out great. I had to add water because the apples were not juicy. I used Granny Smith & Mt Fuji, maybe it's the time of year or maybe those just are not the right kind. I cut the brown sugar by about half and it was plenty sweet for us. Good recipe. - 12/27/11
