Ingredients

    1 lb ground sirloin
    1 1/2 cups fresh breadcrumbs made from french bread
    1 cup diced onion
    2 large eggs
    1/3 c. chopped fresh parsley
    1/2 tsp salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 1/2 cup bottled Barbecue sauce

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Combine first 7 ingredients in a bowl. Add 3/4 c. of babecue sauce; mix until just blended. Pack mixture into 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 2 1/2 inch loaf pan. Spread remaining sauce over the top. Bake meat loaf until top fills firm and the thermometer registers 160 degrees, about 1 hour and 10 minutes. Slice meat loaf thickly and serve.
