Introduction

Goat and Neufchatel Cheese & Walnut Frosting Goat and Neufchatel Cheese & Walnut Frosting

Ingredients

    Assemble:
    10 ounces Redwood Hill Farm Plain Chevre*
    1/4-1/2 Cup honey*
    1 teaspoon vanilla*
    8 oz Neufchatel Cheese*
    1 Cup Chopped Walnuts (optional)*

    **Note: This is a double recipe for a double layer cake. Half the recipe for single layer cakes or if you like extra frosting

    (1/4 C Powdered Sugar if necessary)

Directions

Mix all ingredients together with electric mixer. Spread 1/3 of frosting between 2 carrot cakes (to make a 2 layer cake). Spread remaining frosting over rest of cake.

Goat cheese has a bit of a bite to it so if you need to start with adding more honey or maple SUGAR (not maple syrup) and add powdered sugar if necessary
