Ingredients

* Chicken Breast, no skin, 500 grams( dice, add salt and keep aside)
* Almonds, 200 grams ( ground)
* Yogurt, plain, low fat, 1 cup (8 fl oz)
* Half and Half Cream, 1 cup
* Ginger Root, 4 slices (1" dia)
* *Cumin seed powder, 2 tsp
* Cardamom whole, 1 tbsp
* Cinnamon 1 or 2 sticks
* Pepper, black, whole1 tsp
* *4 Green Chiles (Whole)( slit)
* Fresh Cilantro( chopped) 2 tbsp
* Salt, 2 tsp
* Butter, unsalted, 200 grams or 3tbsp oil
* Bay Leaf, 5 grams
* Cloves whole, 1 grams ( 5/6)
Directions
-Heat oil or butter.
- Add the bay leaf, peppercorns, cloves, cinnamom, cardamom. Saute till they splutter.
-Add the ginger slices. Saute till they change colour.
- Add the chicken pieces. Saute till it changes colour( white)
- Add the almond powder, cumin powder. saute for 2 minutes.Lower heat.
-Add beaten yoghurt, slit green chillies.Mix well.
-Cover and simmer till chicken is cooked( 7/8 minutes)
-Add cream and simmer for another 5 minutes.
-Garnish with cilantro .
