This salad dressing is so simple to make, is really light and tasty. This salad dressing is so simple to make, is really light and tasty.
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    2 tbsp Olive Oil
    1 tsp Maple Syrup, Honey or Agave Nectar
    2 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
    Dash sea salt
    Cayenne pepper to taste
    Fresh juice from 1/2 lemon

Directions

Mix all of the above together and serve immediately.

    Since sweet is in the name of the dressing I was surprised at how sour it is. The vinegar overpowered the agave. But, if you like sour on your salad you will probably like this dressing. - 10/20/09

    Incredible!
    YUMMY!!!! I used Red Wine vinegar in place of the apple cider; it was WONDERFUL!!! It is now a favorite of mine. Thank you for the ZING the cayenne pepper adds. - 9/8/08

    O.K.
    Recipe was good except i would use real maple syrup or use honey. I used a fat free maple w/butter flavor syup and it probably ruined the recipe. Oh well, i still ate the salad but next time i will modify recipe. - 4/15/07
