Ingredients

    1 cup dry lentils
    1/2 pound ham cubed
    1 cup sliced carrots
    1 cup chopped onion
    1 15 oz can tomatos
    8 cups water
    1 tbsp parsley
    1 tsp majoram

Directions

put all ingredients into large stock pot
bring to boil
reduce heat to simmer
simmer for one hour or more
