Introduction

Crunch your way through one of these sweet treats when the big game turns into a nail-biter! Crunch your way through one of these sweet treats when the big game turns into a nail-biter!
Number of Servings: 24

Ingredients

    1/4 cup butter or margarine
    1/2 cup natural peanut butter
    1 package (16 ounces) mini marshmallows
    8 cups Cocoa Krispies
    1/2 can (8 ounces) vanilla frosting

Directions

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Stir in the peanut butter and marshmallows. Cook, stirring often, until melted.
Stir in the cereal.
Let cool for five minutes, then butter your hands. Working with 1/3 cup at a time, shape the cereal mix into footballs, then place on the baking sheet.
Let cool completely.
Spoon the frosting into a piping bag or ziptop bag with one corner snipped.
Decorate each treat with icing to resemble football laces.

Serving Size: 24 "footballs" (1 per serving)

    I have made something like this just not into a football and you can omit the butter and they will still come out good. Oh and the frosting to. - 1/8/14
