Introduction

This is a great tasting meal for famlies on a budget or anyone who just wants a great satifying meal. This can be served over mashed potatoes or noodles. Ingredients

    Cubbed steak 1.5 lb cut into 4 inch peices
    Onions, raw, 1 large sliced into 1/4 rings
    Pepper, black 1/4 tsp
    Campbell's cream of mushroom soup, 1 can
    Packet of low sodium dry gravy mix
    Water, tap, 1 cup (8 fl oz)

Directions

Place a single layer of steak in the bottom of a slow cooker. Place 1/2 of the onion rings over the steak. Sprinkle 1/2 of the pepper over the onions. Place remaining steak over onions and then top with the rest of the onions and pepper. In a small bowl mix soup, water and dry gravy mix. Pour over steak and cook on low for 8 hours.

***Note for people who dont like mushrooms cream of celery soup can be used instead.

    I make something similar, but use just a package of the dry onion soup mix and some water. I always turns out great, and no one moans and groans about eating it! - 9/27/08
