Nutrition & Calorie Comments

I made these cookies, but I used regular flour and 1/4 cup agave nectar instead of brown sugar. The cookies were so soft and not too sweet. Delish!
My family loved this recipe although I did use Splenda instead of the sugar and used nutmeg instead of the cinnamon because my father-in-law is allergic to cinnamon.
I used Organic Whole Wheat Flour and as much as I can't stand sugar subs., I too used Splenda blend and it turned out AWESOME. My inlaws love it even though it's "healthy" or somewhat healthy. My husband will love them and as a type II diabetic, I love them too.
My husband likes these cookies. My only change to the recipe was using baking Splenda. Since we watch his carb intake, the ingredients make this a cookie that he can enjoy and not worry about too much sugar or refined flour.
Not too sweet but yummy because of the raisins and apples. My daughter thought she was having a "treat" before bed but didn't have the sugar high to keep her awake! Thanks!
