I wasn't optimistic, but I had to use up some apples. Yum-O! I used cranberries instead of raisins and they give the cookies a fun bite! They're like a cross between a granola bar and a cookie. I'll probably make them again (tomorrow). - 11/24/08

Not too sweet but yummy because of the raisins and apples. My daughter thought she was having a "treat" before bed but didn't have the sugar high to keep her awake! Thanks! - 2/1/08

It's difficult to know how much 4.5 ounces of quick oats is. Why not just indicate 1 cup, 2 cups or whatever the way the rest of the recipe is written? - 10/24/14

    Incredible!
I love the apples in it! Used golden raisins, yummy, just didn't get the same amount of cookies. - 3/17/13

    Incredible!
These are awesome! Next time I'd add a little more cinnamon. I used dried cranberries and a few chopped walnuts and will be making a double batch! - 9/30/11
