Good but calories
This sounds good! I really like my Philly Cheese Steak sandwiches. I wonder how much fat shaved steak has versus lean roast beef?
I used the ole extreme wrap for this only 50 calories and its whole wheat with flax.
I grilled onions and red peppers and mushrooms with a alpine swiss cheese, its low fat but so good..
Great taste, but the pita pocket has a lot less calories than the roll.
This is pretty good fast food, made easily and quickly in our own kitchen! I bought low-sodium beef slices at the meat counter. I added sliced green bell peppers because DH and I love them and it makes the sandwich more nutritious.
I am sodium sensitive, omitted the meat. Used onions, garlic, mushrooms, red, green and orange bell peppers in a WW pita. Topped it wilth Swiss Cheese (lower in sodium than other cheeses). It was outstanding. Will make again.
Too much sodium for me...there don't seem to be enough low sodium recipes. But this does look tasty and should be easily adapted to my dietary needs. :)
