Will try using applesauce to replace oil. Pumpkin or banana could also be a good substitute for oil. Will use egg beaters to lower calories as well. To answer question about using just egg whites, I think one whole egg and 4 egg whites would work... worth trying. Any kind of flour can be used. Submitted by:

Equally fill 12 size regular muffin pan as I did and the texture was good like a muffin.
I Prefer the taste better using coconut oil but out this time and used grapeseed oil.
Mixed 2tbs,soft butter with about 3 tbs. powdered sugar and spread a little on top while warn looked like glazed donut
