Haven't made this yet, but it sounds yummy. A good alternative to cheese sauce is veggie cheese. if you haven't tried it yet I'd highly reccommend! No fat, less calories, and good protein...and it tastes just the the real stuff. I sub all the time and my hubby is never the wiser!
I used 2 real egg whites and low fat mozzarella cheese on a whole wheat english muffin. Delicious! I don't know why I didn't think to make it before. It's quick and easy!
I made this! I used a multi-grain light english muffin though (for more fiber, 8 grams per muffin) and it was such a great treat and substitute for us feeling deprived for not eating one at McDonalds! Thanks for sharing! :)
