Nutrition & Calorie Comments

I never use fat free.. used low fat cream cheese ..
I love this fat free cream cheese frosting recipe! Delicious!
Try this with Stevia, splenda is horrible for you, and also with Reddi Wip fat free...tastes better and much better for you.
This is NOT a recipe! The reduced calorie content is dependent on using specific shop brought items.
Unhelpful to those of us who:
a) Do not live in the US
b) Prefer to cook properly from scratch, and not get our food from tins and packets!
Used regular kool-whip with the fat free creamcheese and put it on a reduced sugar chocolate cake. Didn't really mix well with the cake, but it was GREAT by itself!!
I recommend making it the day before (texture was still the same and easy to spread). Mine tasted better the next day!
Had to use light cream cheese because I didn't have fat free in the house but it was excellent!
Consistency was excellent, but I would rather go with the extra calories and use a reduced fat cream cheese rather than fat free, which tastes nothing like cream cheese. We tried this with powdered sugar which left an aftertaste I didn't like so I wouldn't recommend using that.
I will try this recipe this weekend, it sounds yummy. I am always baking low fat ways for my family. I have used the fat free cream cheese with splender but have not tried mixing in the fat free cool whip. Thanks
absolutely amazing!! friends couldn't believe it was fat free. makes way more than 12 servings - i was able to top 12 cupcakes and 24 mini-cupcakes with generous portions. perfection!
Why not? I usually don't eat frosting because I try to limit my "empty calories" intake, but I am ready to try this recipe. Thanks for sharing! :-)
Really enjoyed it. Next time i will try putting fat free chocolate pudding mix in it.
Soooooo good!!! Taste just like the real thing! The only thing I changed was I used about 1/3 of the tub of cool whip and only put 1/4 cup Splenda and added a 1/4 cup sugar. We put it on our whole wheat pancakes! EXCELLENT!!! We loved it!
So good! Made this for a low calorie carrot cake, and it made that bad cake taste tolerable! I would also use less cool whip next time, since it is a little runny, and makes plenty! YUMMY!!!!
I used 1/4 cup of Clabber Girl Sugar Replacer for Baking, and full fat cream cheese got good results. I would certainly suggest trying this recipe with your favorite substitutions.
Didn't think this was that good..maybe I'm too used to full fat and sugar cream cheese frosting, but it didn't add that much flavor/sweetness to a carrot cake recipe that needed it.
Wow! Thanks for a great sugar free/fat free cream cheese frosting, it is really fluffy and delicious! Thanks :)
I love this! It tastes wonderful and lets me think I'm cheating without all the calories and guilt that go along with it!
