OK, fat free evaporated milk and marshmallows for a DIABETIC recipe? And they wonder why I accuse them of trying to kill me.

Sugar in the milk, sugar in the marshmallows, sugar in the chocolate. I wouldn't touch this with a 10 foot pole.

Wondering how this will be with cream instead of evap milk & skipping the marshmallows to make it more low carb friendly. Submitted by:

It sounds amazing.. I will have to try it. I noticed no sugar grams? For someone who wonders how they could measure it, try cutting the fruit into hunks and measuring the chocolate and drizzle it over the fruit. That's how I'm going to do it when I make it. Submitted by:

WOW, this was good, and the Valentine's Day email advertising it was perfectly timed. We can have a broth-based fondue for dinner (as non-caloric as meats can get, plus lots of veggies) and follow it up with this, for a romantic-style dinner that is filling and low calorie. Submitted by:

Good way to get the chocolate fix without the super calories~~~~ Submitted by:

@ Flame42--there are 80 calories per half cup, which equates to 480 calories for 3 cups. Divide that by 12 servings and it's 40 calories per serving from the marshmellows.

Very good recipe!

I'm helpless around choc covered strawberries so this is a great stand-in - gives the chocolate taste but way less calories. Not a big fan of marshamallows, so left them out. It was a bit runny so I added more chips, but it's still better because of the evaporated milk. My son and I had a blast! Submitted by:

Made this for my hubby for Father's Day -- his first taste of chocolate in over SEVEN months! It was delicious and it was more than an adequate serving -- and so affordable, calorie wise. Submitted by:

I haven't tried this recipe because I don't like marshmallows - too sweet for me. My fave way to eat fresh strawberries is with a drizzle of Hersheys syrup (1-2 tsp - about 35 calories) over cut up strawberries, with a spritz of whipped cream. Simple, yet decadent tasting & very low calories. Submitted by:
