If you use fat free milk, fat free sour cream, 98 % fat free cream of chicken soup, and add 2 more chicken breasts for six servings, it reduces the calories to 172 and the fat grams to 3.4 grams. - 8/16/11

This was great! Very flavorful and juicy! I ommitted the bacon bits and halved the sour cream and the sauce was a perfect consistency. I served it over brown rice and with a side of green beans! Will definitely make again! - 1/14/09

I love this its great !!! I took a few Opinions from other comments. 1 I left out the bacon and 2 I used healthy request cream of chicken soup. I left everything else the same. The salt is so much less. - 9/25/12

This is by far one of my faves. I prepared it according to directions for the most part. I used Hormel Real Bacon Pieces and only half of the Hidden Valley Ranch Seasoning. I also used minced garlic and only 3 chicken breasts. YUMMY!!! - 12/5/11

My very picky eaters loved this recipe...not one complaint! I whomped it a bit, based on some of the comments, half the sour cream, added about 5 or 6 sliced potatoes to the bottom of the pot, cooked for 4 hours on low then 3 on high! It was perfect, the chichen moist and tender! Making it again! - 6/30/11

This was really good the first time around, but I have to say the leftovers were WAY better!!! I used frozen chicken for this recipe, but I think next time I cook it, I may brown the chicken before I put it in the crock pot for some more saturated seasoning. - 5/14/11

It tasted very good, but the sauce was a lot runnier than I expected. - 3/14/13

Tasty and my picky child ate it up! I also used half the sour cream. My husband suggested melting a bit of cheese over top. - 3/3/13

I thought this would be fantastic but it was just "good". Something I might make again but didn't really blow me away. - 8/18/12

Just a head's up - the chicken calories may not be accurate. The calories for the recipe are calculated using "4 units yield from 1 lb ready-to-cook chicken" (304 calories total) - which does not mean 4 chicken breasts. The ingredients call for 4 chicken breasts (1,038 calories total). - 1/16/12

I loved this recipe and will definately make it again - the recipe suggested making the no yoke noodles - which I did. However, I also served a salad with this meal, and most of the family members put the chicken with gravy and all right on the salad... it was great! - 1/15/12

Very good but it was pretty salty...and that says a lot coming form someone who loves salt! But my husband loved it. - 12/14/11

Pretty salty, but good. I'm going to try substituting yogurt for he sour cream to see if the sweetness offsets it. VERY easy & DH likes it! - 4/5/11

Not my favorite. I halved the sour cream and the sauce was the right consistency but the flavor didn't do it for me! - 12/29/10

This recipe would be good if you could eliminate some of the salt. The flavor of the salt is overwhelming, especially if you do not use a lot of salt on a regular basis. - 11/20/10

This was awesome! I'll be making it once a week, I used turkey bacon and added some diced red skin potatoes for the last 2 hours. Even my picky girlfriend who hates sour cream loved it!! - 10/23/10

Even though I tweaked the ingredients to lower the sodium content, it was quite salty tasting and could barely taste the ranch! Will try again later with some other tweaks... - 1/25/10

The chicken was incredibly tender! But I didn't care for the sauce to much... My family enjoyed everything - 1/18/10

This stuff is soooooo good. Once when I made it I didn't have the sour cream and used ae party dip and it was really good too (but much more salty). I also use the real bacon pieces & it gives it a really good flavor & I get 8 servings out of this. We also thickened it w/ corn starch. - 1/4/10

This turned out great! I didn't have cream of chicken on hand so I used cream of mushroom instead. Whenit was done cooking, I shredded the chicken and served over brown rice. My Husband is a picky eater and he loved it! Will be making this again! - 12/23/09

This was OUTSTANDING- and I even messed it up! I accidently added a cup of milk instead of half- but let me tell you. STILL GOOD!! Served it over a plate of bowtie pasta and I felt like I was having an expensive dish at an italian restaurant! The chicken was fall-apart juicy and so flavorful! - 12/21/09

This was fabulous and I will definetely make it again! I used chicken broth instead of the milk to further cut the calories and used 6 chicken breasts intead of 4! I will definetely make this again and again! Thanks for a great recipe!! - 11/22/09

This was pretty good. It was really saltly (and I did not add the garlic) and got to be too thick and was not creamy. Next time I will just cook it in a pot so that it stays creamier. Or if I do put it in the crockpot will put it on a bun and make a chicken bacon ranch sandwitch. - 11/7/09

I only used 1/2 pack of the ranch dressing, but I had a BIG package. I only used 1/4 cup milk because I used frozen chicken breasts. I also used 3 lbs of chicken. It was delish and I'll make it again for sure. THANKS! - 10/29/09

Tasted ok, but the sauce was really soupy!! I think maybe would have worked better with more cooking time or less milk perhaps. In general we were disappointed. - 8/7/08

This recipe was great! And easy to make! The sauce was a little on the salty side, so next time I will try making it with the Healthy Request Cream of Chicken Soup, which has less sodium, and see how it turns out. Can't wait to try it! - 7/22/08
