WOW! This was amazing! Thank you for new "go-to" recipe. Used 100g of ground beef, divided the rest of the ingredients by 6 to make one serving. Glad I did or I might have eaten more of it than suppose to. Couldn't find ancho pepper at my store so skipped. Omitted celery so can have fruit later. - 6/2/12

You are allowed to combine the celery and tomatos if you plan on counting your tomato as a fruit (which technically it is) so this is legit phase 2 stuff. I just took out my 99% lean ground turkey and going to try this out. I am excited :) - 5/7/12

    Incredible!
Okay, I was looking for a South Beach Phase I recipe. I used this one with some modifications, mainly I put 2 cans of kidney beans in it and didn't add the ancho pepper or red pepper flakes (had none) and no sweetener (didn't want it sweet). Loved it! Topped with avocado, ff sour cream and cheddar. - 7/21/13

Another winner! I did modify it by using ground turkey and adding an additional can of diced tomatoes. (I'm on maintenance after losing 30 pounds.) I only used regular paprika and couldn't find ancho ground pepper. Still fantastic. - 7/13/13

Ummm... sorry, but you can't mix veggies in Phase 1 -- you'd have to leave out the tomatoes. Sounds good, otherwise!

Addendum: I double-checked this with my naturopath, as I am starting a second round tomorrow -- tomatoes CANNOT be used as a fruit in the HCG protocol!

This was awesome!!! I used chicken instead of beef and chicken broth instead of beef broth, skipped the celery and ancho pepper since I didn't have it. This is HOT but SO good!! Wish I was aloud more than 2/3 cup :(. Def will make again :) - 1/10/13

    Very Good
I fixed this for my husband and myself tonight and we were amazed at how good it tasted. I added truvia instead of Stevia, but it was the "key" to the HCG Sweet-Hot Chili. Thanks so much for sharing this recipe! It will remain in my cookbook for life! - 3/27/12

I can't believe how good this was. Didn't hv "smoked" paprika, regular worked. Didn't add ancho pepper - not a "fiery mouth" fan! I can't believe this was P1 - it was wayyy too good. I didn't even mind the celerym didn't taste it. It needed the slight crunch. Try it, you won't be disappointed! - 8/21/11

My husband and I eat this twice a week. I don't like spicy hot so I cut the spicy spices in half and it's perfect. - 3/7/11
