Three pears halved is hard to serve 4 people.
Much easier to eat if not cored.
Recipe says sliced thinly but the pears shown are halved and not browned.

I have 2 pear trees in my yard but usually give the pears away because there are way too many to eat. This sounds like a recipe I'll really like so now I'm looking forward to the trees bearing fruit again so I can try it. - 1/20/09

What a wonderful way to get friends to eat fruit by serving this for special occasions. But using low cal brown sugar will be much healthier. - 1/20/09

Bosco pears cook the best then the green pears. Stay away from the red pears they turn to mush
The nutrition facts are wrong. Because they say no sugar but your putting brown sugar on pears and the vanilla yogurt has sugar in it. Don't walk away when broiling.
Simple delicious and impressive to l

Going to try this it sounds delicious, but yes the picture does not match. So I did a google search of images, and honestly could not find anything even close to the description of the recipe. I'm thinking it's hard to find a stock photo online, not everyone can upload an actual photo of the dish. - 6/19/13

I agree with everyone about the picture and to the one that said she didn`t think SP ever read the comments, well I know they read one of mine....I said the recipe was nasty and they deleted it!....SP is just too busy thinking of ways to get more ads on their space to care about pictures and recipes - 11/12/12

When I have great pears, I hate to do this to them. What's wrong with a lovely pear by itself? I 'd use it on ones that aren't at their best. - 1/20/09
