Introduction

This meatloaf is better for you since it is made with venison. This meatloaf is better for you since it is made with venison.
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    1 pound ground venison
    1/2 cup onions, chopped fine
    1 egg
    1/4 cup ketchup
    1 tsp salt
    1 tsp pepper
    1/2 cup white Minute rice, uncooked

Directions

In a bowl, mix all ingredients together.
Form in a loaf and put in baking pan.
Bake in preheated oven of 350 degrees.
Bake 30-40 minutes depending on how you like your meatloaf. Makes 6-8 servings depending on how you form your loaf.

    Don't usually make my meatloaf with rice but it was very good plus less cals that using bread crumbs. Flavorful and easy to make. This one is a keeper. - 4/26/07

    Wonderful to see a venison recipe - I will substitute Kangaroo for the venison since I can get kangaroo at 1/4 the price and nutritionally they are similar. - 12/21/12

    Very Good
    I made this today. My family did not like the rice in it, but said it tasted pretty good. I did however add some spices i.e. garlic, chives, sweet basil, oregano, parsley, and substituted seasoned salt for regular salt. We like a lot of different spices in our foods adds more flavor. - 6/8/08
