Introduction

You can make these bars ahead and store them in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. You can make these bars ahead and store them in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.

Ingredients

    Peanut Butter( light) 3/4 cup
    Golden corn syrup 3/4 cup
    Life multigrain cereal 3 cups
    Dried cranberries 1/4 cup
    Unsweetened coconut 1/4 cup

Directions

Spray 8 inch square pan with cooking spray. Microwave corn syrup and peanut butter in large microwaveable bowl on HIGH for 1 1/2 minutes. Stir until blended.
Add remaining ingrediants; mix well. Press into prepared pan, and chill for 1 hour until firm. Makes 20 servings.

    WOW, I would make this recipe all the time but instead of corn syrup I would add maple syrup instead... This would add huge calories (nice flavour, but still). The cranberries & peanut butter give it the taste it needs... so much better, thank you!!! - 2/1/18

    I just use Kraft's light peanut butter, it's a little less sugar and oil!

    I used kellogs just right and had to omit the coconut due to allergies so added 1/4 cup of dried blueberries

    I used a very similar recipe, however instead of Total I used Grape Nuts. These are great and they help top you off so you arent starving when its time for the next meal! Slighty hard to chew but it didnt bother me - 2/27/09
