This is really good!! I bulky-cut the cabbage and add one onion chopped. I use HC sausage, and instead of boiling, I put it all in the skillet and keep adding water... so it steams instead of boiling... keeps more of the flavor in (IMHO) - 4/11/07

This is wonderful! It tasted like corned beef and cabbage but was super easy and fast to make. I have made it twice in the last 5 days. I served it over a cut up baked potato and didn't miss the butter. The whole family enjoyed it. - 10/3/16

    Very Good
I like cabbage with a touch of vinegar but today I used this recipe, drained, and tossed with 4 tbsp. of sweet pickle juice. Just the touch of 'sweet & sour' that my mouth was craving. Very good! - 4/22/07
