This is easy and delicious! I bought Tyson frozen grilled chicken strips and roasted garlic hummus. It's the first "diet" food I've eaten that I'm satisfied with after I'm done. I look forward to eating it and it keeps me going to dinner. Love it, thanks for the tip! - 1/7/09

Made this for lunch and it is tasty. I added steak seasoning to the chicken and tossed it with garlic. Also added extra 2 oz of chicken for additional protien - 1/6/09

I looooved this. I used a teriyaki flavored chicken breast and garlic flavored hummus for extra taste. I also used some tomato. I put all of this on half of a whole wheat pita, and my calories came to 367. - 10/9/08

If you don't like hummus because of the chickpea taste you might like babaganoush (if you like eggplant) its the same consistancy just no chickpeas. I happen to love both. You also might like some Tzatziki (yogurt dip). The pita's are delish with any of the mentioned items! - 8/24/08

This is going to be a good lunch for taking on the go; I pre-cook the chicken and can take the rest with me to work every day to make my little sandwiches! - 1/4/09

what can you use instead of hummus? I don't care for that but I want to keep this healthy - 8/16/08

Another idea is spicy mustard :)
I like the 'sweet hot' mustard myself.

I used sandwich thins (no pita) and forgot the romaine! But it was still a great taste. Added a stalk of celery for side. Next time I'll make per recipe. - 7/31/15
