Mama Mia! That's A Spicy Meat-a-ball! I lowered the cals a bit more & upped the fiber a LOT by using 1/4 cup oat bran instead of bread crumbs-that worked out great. Used Italian style turkey sausage too. Added a touch of ketchup, baked at 350 for 1/2 hr and MAN ARE THEY GOOD! - 2/11/11

These are fantastic! The only thing I would change is about 1/8 of a cup more breadcrumbs. I also used a whole egg instead of 2 egg whites and they turned out perfectly! - 4/2/09

I looooove these meatballs! I like to put them over penne pasta with a red sauce. I also add about a tsp. of Worcestershire sauce to give it a little extra zip. The whole family loves these. - 1/19/10

Chagnes - Added 1 tsp liquid smoke & 1 tsp worchestire suace and used Slap Yo Mamma instead of cayenne
Sauted meatballs in 1 tbsp olive oil for about 2 mintues (flipping to sear each side) then cooked in the oven for 10 minutes. Simmered in ragu sauce for about 5 minutes after cooked and DELICIOUS!

This was fast and easy! I only put in half of the red pepper flakes and only a little cayenne pepper so it won't be too spicy for my kids, but we ate them tonight with barbecue sauce. I also used gluten free breadcrumbs since my kids have a gluten free diet restriction. Thanks for the recipe! - 6/22/16

I used one egg, added 1/2 cup of mushrooms, cheddar cheese, 2 tbsps of flax seed, and 3 tbsp of bread crumbs in an attempt to reduce carbs and increase the fibre...next time I'll omit the crumbs and add more cayenne and onion powder. I cooked at 375 for 35 min. They were pretty good considering;) - 4/19/15

this is a good starting base recipe for turkey meatballs. for me I needed a lot more spice, so i put in chopped green chilies as well and used cornflake crumbs. the cheese is definitely optional, you don't really need the extra cals if you season them right - 4/8/13

I eat these about four times a week. I either put them in some whole wheat pasta, mix with marinara sauce and mozzarella and toast on a sandwich thin for a meatball sub, or slice up and sprinkle on a pita pizza - 2/6/13

These little meatballs pack a punch in a wonderfully spicy way. Served with marinara and farfalle with snap peas, YUM! I used the smaller package of ground turkey (12 oz) , but didn't alter the measurements on the other ingredients. Turned out perfect. Worth trying. Definitely. - 2/5/13

WE LOVE THIS!!! From New Mexico so naturally I added chopped green chili instead of crushed red pepper and oregano.... So good!! I also started them off on stove for maybe 10 then popped them into 400 degree oven for 15 mins. Definitely my new favorite! Served them on a toasted slice of bread - 9/24/12

These were quick and easy. A melon-baller makes the perfect size. Avoided grease spatters by baking in a greased 9x13 pan at 400 for 12 minutes, then poured 2 jars marinara sauce over and put them back in for another 15 minutes. Made whole-wheat penne a salad while they baked. Very good! - 9/13/12
