Ingredients

    1 lb ground beef
    1/2 c uncooked rice
    1/2 c water
    1/3 c chopped onion
    1 t salt
    1/2 t celery salt

    15 oz can tomato sauce - 500 ml
    1/3 t garlic powder
    1/2 t pepper
    1/4 can of water
    2 T Worcestershire sauce

Directions

Combine first 6 ingredients. Shape into meatballs. Place in 9 x 13 pan.

Mix remaining ingredients. Pour over meatballs.

Bake @ 350F covered - 45 minutes. Remove cover and coninue baking for 15 minutes.

    This sounds very delicious but I would substitute the tomato sauce with low sodium tomato sauce ground turkey for the beef and omit the celery salt - 6/15/07

    this was so good and it didn't take long to prepare. i was sure how many you were to get but i divided into 8 balls and i use brown rice which made it healthier. it is one of my favorites now. thank you - 3/29/07
