Ingredients

    1 1/4 pound Lean Ground Beef
    1 Small can tomato sauce
    3/4 cup uncooked rice
    1 1/4 tsp salt
    1/2 tsp paprika
    1 medium onion, chopped

Directions

Brown ground beef with onions. Add remaining ingredients, stir and cover. Simmer for 15-20 minutes or until rice is tender.

    We substitute tomato soup for the tomato sauce, add mushrooms, red peppers and a squeeze of Heinz tomato ketchup. No paprika. Important to use INSTANT rice. Family favorite! - 6/5/07

    i followed the directions to the the tee and the rice seemed to not cook. I would cook the rice first and then add the beef mixture. it was pretty good once i tweaked the recipe. - 4/13/07
