    Very Good
Based on what I had on hand, I used:
1 apple, pear infused vinegar, ground black pepper, minced onions, & butter

This was my first time cooking red cabbage. Thanks for making the adventure a tasty one! I also posted a recipe of the modifications (Steamed Red Cabbage, Submitted by SHE_SMILES)

    Very Good
My Oma never used peppercorns, but 2-4 bay leaves in her Red Cabbage,so that is what I do also. My recipe is similar to this, except no peppercorn, but bay leaves. Be sure to remove bay leaves before serving. Oma used real sugar-Equal did not exist. I use raw sugar instead of Equal. - 5/11/10

    Very Good
I used brown sugar instead of artificial sweetener. This was very good. Made my house smell like a good German restaurant instead of like...well, cabbage. - 1/30/10
