Ingredients

6-8 peaches, peeled and sliced (We did not unpeel peaches)
2 T lemon juice
1/2 c sifted all-purpose whole wheat or regular flour
3/4 c rolled oats
1/2 c brown sugar, packed or 1/2 cup Splenda
1/3 c margarine or butter
Directions
1. Put peaches in a shallow 2-quart baking dish
2. Sprinkle with the lemon juice.
3. Mix flour, oats and brown sugar.
4. Cut in margarine with pastry blender.
5. Spread over the peaches and bake at 325 degrees for 30 minutes or until peaches are tender (check with a butter knife).
6. Serve warm with ice cream, nonfat topping, whipped cream or plain!

I really liked this. I used fresh peaches I had frozen from the summer, added a dash of cinnamon to them and a bit of cinnamon and nutmeg to the dry mix. The only other change I might make for next time is use a bit less butter because I like a crunchier "crisp" topping. Thanks for a great recipe! - 1/7/13

Loved it - Loved it - Loved it!!! I completely impressed my family with a truly yummy dessert which I got to brag was healthy. Used the Splenda brown suger - couldn't tell, and real butter. Would make again and again. Also added .5 t of cinnamon to the fruit and a little bit to the topping-yum! - 8/4/07
