Ingredients

    Mashed potato flakes, 5 2/3 cups
    Evaporated milk, 2 cups
    Margarine, 1 stick
    Water, 3 cups (approximate)
    Dash salt
    Pepper to taste

Directions

Put water, milk and salt into a large pot. Bring to a boil. Turn off heat. Add potato flakes and stir in with a whisk; add margarine and pepper.

Makes 8 cups, or 16 1/2 cup servings.
