Introduction

Kefir is a liquid yogurt which is low fat and high in protein, and it helps build flora in the GI tract. This is the basic recipe; for more vitamin content add fruit such as banana, blueberries, strawberries, etc. A very healthy and delicious smoothie. I have IBS and can tolerate this well if I don't add the fruit. Kefir is a liquid yogurt which is low fat and high in protein, and it helps build flora in the GI tract.
